Reading & Relaxation

Reading & Relaxation In-Person

Did you know that reading for pleasure can boost your social and mental well-being? Recent research studies have found that engaging in leisure reading, particularly with immersive fiction or creative nonfiction, has myriad benefits, including measurable reductions in stress, an increased sense of social connection, and growth in empathy.  Come treat yourself to an hour or so of reading for enjoyment, in a room full of fellow readers! You may bring your own reading or browse through a curated collection we'll have on hand for you to explore.  Come to one session or several--there will be a different selection of books each time.
